Review of Setback

Synopsis:The story deals with two brothers taking their father's remains home to Colorado.  The two brothers have been at odds for years with unresolved issue running underneath the surface at every meeting they've had.  In the process of returning home they have a confrontaion and come to terms with their relationship.

Evaluation: Very fast paced story.  It is the type of story that could be expanded to a long story but probably does better as a short or episodic story.  The details may get slightly cumbersome for a reader not interested or unfamiliar with avaiation and its corresponding technology.  Good implication of character history through dialogue and economical use of speech.  Though the vercaity of avaition style could not be verified as logical responses to events that occured, the piece has definite flavor of reality to it.  Use of 1st person, present tense while limiting definitely makes the story flow quickly and efficiently.  It would be interesting to see another episodic on characters.
